Denovo Transportation Management Group is an amalgamation of seven individual companies who provide industry leading NEMT, Paratransit and Ambulance services in Missouri, Kansas, Illinois, Oklahoma, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, Louisiana, Mississippi, Colorado, and Alabama.
Dan Reed, Partner, Louisiana
Dan Reid is President and Managing Member of Grove Transit and Go Ride LLC, NEMT companies operating in Mississippi and Louisiana, respectively. Starting in 2010, Grove Transit consists of a 25 vehicle fleet operating from four locations in South Mississippi, and Go Ride consists of over 50 vehicles operating from eight offices located throughout the state of Louisiana.
Dan currently serves as NEMTAC President and Co-Chair of the Certifications & Standards Advisory Committee and the Accreditation Advisory Committee. He also serves on the Compliance and & Regulatory as well as the Technology Advisory Committees. Additionally, Dan is on the Board of The Transportation Alliance where he holds the office of President Elect, as well as Co-Chair of the On-Demand/Taxi Committee, having previously served as Chair of the NEMT Committee.
Kevin Teasdale, Partner Kansas City, Missouri
Kevin Teasdale Is the Co-Founder and President of Secure Medical Transport, serving the Kansas City metropolitan and surrounding areas. Since 2010, the company has grown from two vans to a fleet of more than 20 vehicles, and it has become the premier NEMT provider in the KC market. Prior to starting SMT, Kevin spent 3 years in transportation insurance as a producer for Arthur J. Gallagher. While there, he learned best practices for trucking and different transportation organizations. This experience, combined with his awareness while caring for his father of the need for quality services, gave him a unique perspective for building a high quality transportation service. Kevin is passionate about sharing his perspective and bringing further awareness to the NEMT industry.
Steve Newman, Partner St. Louis, Missouri
Steve Newman is the owner of 360 Quality Care + Transport Services, a provider of high-quality, private and facility paid Non-Emergency Medical Transport (NEMT) services located in St. Louis, Missouri. Under Steve’s leadership, 360 has not only built a reputation for outstanding service, quality, and reliability, but has also implemented a wide range of industry leading services and standards. 360 is one of only twelve nationally accredited NEMT companies in the nation. It is the only NEMT company in Eastern Missouri to be certified by the State of Missouri, and it is the only NEMT in St. Louis to host all its driver, vehicle, and company policies and procedures in the ProCredEx credentialing exchange.
Mark Porterfield, Partner, Alabama
After 31 years as a Publix manager, Mark is living the dream as a small business owner. For the past 8 years, Mark has built a solid company with 34 employees and 26 handicapped accessible vehicles operating in 3 cities in Alabama. Mark is proud to announce that Care♥avan is the first Nationally Accredited NEMT (NEMTAC.org) company in the nation. Also, Mark, with Care♥avan, has helped in the aftermath of the last 6 major hurricanes to hit the Southeast USA. Duties included getting personnel checking in with NATCOM, setting up duty rosters, organizing vehicle staging areas, constant communication with crews, vehicle inspections, vehicle sanitizing protocols, delegating crews for missions, reporting mission status, responding to ‘on-demand’ IMT requests, coordinating crew demobilizations and liaison between Paratransit and AMR/IMT and various shelters.
Jason George, Partner, Tulsa Oklahoma
Jason is President & CEO of Entrusted Transport. Company headquarters are in Tulsa, OK with an additional branch in Oklahoma City. Entrusted Transport has quickly become the market leader in quality by setting the standard of safety & service for NEMT throughout Oklahoma.
Prior to leading Entrusted Transport, Jason spent 25 years as Executive VP & Assistant General Manager for the Tulsa Drillers Baseball Club, the Double-A Affiliate of the LA Dodgers. In this role, he was responsible for all revenue, sales, marketing and customer service initiatives for the Drillers. In 2020, the Drillers were selected as the Double-A recipient of the prestigious, Bob Frietas Award. This was the 3th time during Jason’s tenure that the Drillers won this award, the first professional baseball team to ever to do so.
Chase Lafferty, Partner, Virginia
Chase Lafferty is the President of H&M Transport serving the Washington DC metro and Richmond Virginia. Chase and his business partner acquired H&M Transport in 2020, and since then has tripled the fleet size to 98 vehicles and expanded services throughout the state of Virginia, Maryland, DC and West Virginia. Chase is also the President of Amtran Medical Transport, Inc which provides ALS, BLS and NEMT services in Northwest Georgia and the Atlanta Metro with a total fleet of 52 vehicles.
